Because It’s Ours

I grew up going to libraries and look forward to taking my children to them for the many books, items like games and craft kits they can check out, story time activities, and other options that connect kids with each other outside of school.

When I moved to Sandy, the library was one of the first places I visited. I’ve bought and donated books to the on-site bookstore, checked out free audiobooks for long drives, printed documents via their mobile app etc. After I had my daughter and needed a quiet place to go by myself sometimes, the Sandy Public Library was the perfect place to sit and read some art books that gave me peace amid chaos. There are always people there of all ages.

The library is such an important part of the community and people can even work with the librarians to propose new groups or programming. It’s our library and it reflects us and serves us because we show up for it as much as it shows up for Sandy.
