10 books each

As a kid, I remember going to the library weekly with my mom and older sister. After having trouble keeping track of our library books once, and getting too many overdue fines, my mom instituted a rule. We could each check out 10 books. About half-way through the week, we would each begin to run out of books to read. Though my sister was 5 years older than me, we started reading each other's books. This is likely why I needed a bookmark in the 2nd grade.
