Given the growth of the city of Sandy, along with the growth of the greater metro area; I feel that it is time to create a permanent location for which to hold the carnival during Mountain Days. In addition to this, it is extremely vital to repave Meinig Parks paths. They are a danger and trip hazard, especially during the Mountain Days Festival. They are also not ADA accessible and should be brought fully within compliance of accessibility. I say this as a citizen of our loved community and as a primary caregiver to a gentleman in a motorized wheelchair. he would have loved to go through the entire park, but was forced to stick to the lower path of the main stage. And even that, had a few precarious areas for his chair. I am sure he is not the only one who has had this issue. And parents with strollers may face the same. As well as everyone in general with twisting an ankle or worse. Thanks

A 24 hour Webcam located at Jonsrud viewpoint. We have one of the best scenic views of Mt. Hood in the state at Jonsrud. A 24 hour Webcam that people could visit on the city website would be amazing. Excellent advertisement for the city and somewhere folks could go, virtually, when they're away and miss sitting there. Thank you. Nathan Shelters.

Sewer rates and taxes out of control with current leadership.
Why not charge new home builders $20,000 to $40,000 to connect to water and sewer system?
New homes adding major burden to sewer system, make them pay.
We don’t need new homes if system can’t handle, without making builders pay.
Yes it passes the price on to home buyers, if they want to live in Sandy they will pay the extra.
Is Ever Fresh Company connected to Sandy ware and sewer system? If yes why?
If yes when was it connected to system?
I surely hope not. Just curious as they had Kelso Road all dug up several years ago from Ever Fresh heading towards Sandy.

Time to make big changes with leadership.
Get out and vote for new leaders.
We can’t afford current leadership into the future.

A 41% increase in water, 43% increase in stormwater, a year after a 50% increase in sewer rates?
Why haven't we been servicing and maintaining infrastructure WHILE saving for the future needs all along? I remember talking about these needs back in the 90's at the 2020 planning meetings. It's not like these issues are all of a sudden upon us.
My city services bill explanation reads like a mismanagement 101 textbook.
"These projects are long overdue. Many without investment in years or even decades.
And now, because of that mismanagement "We the subjects" get to take in the shorts with these extraordinary increases in price.
Let's bring in the Estacada city managers. They seem to be able to manage their water and sewer system at reasonable pricing.

I live in Sandy and work at the Forest Service office in town. Recently, permanent traffic control stakes were put up outside of our office on Champion Way, making it impossible for us to turn left into or out of our parking lot. This was done with no warning and greatly obstructs our ability to enter and exit our office, especially with the vehicles continuing to park on the side of the road. The traffic has only been a problem on that road since construction vehicles have been parked on both sides. Wouldn't it make more sense to ban parking on both sides of the road instead? That would reduce the traffic and increase visibility rather than obstruct traffic and access to both the existing Forest Service office and new self storage facility.
