Access to the world

Access to the library granted me access to the entire world. As a person who was raised as a Jehovah's Witness and was gay, I was restricted on everything I can do. Me going to the library as a teenager allowed me learn that I was an okay person and was a safe space to explore stories about other gay men and the LGBTQ+ community.

I also was able to utilize the library even to this day, as my personal passport to the entire world! I have been able to explore countries, cultures, and experiences all through books, as each book captivates me and adds another stamp to my passport book. I love being able to transported to a new adventure with every book, so will you!
