At City Council meetings, the Councilors discuss current and upcoming City projects, listen to presentations, hear from residents, and make policy decisions. Meetings typically occur on the first and third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. Often the Council holds a 6:00 PM work session before meetings to study particular issues in further depth.

The public is welcome to give comments at City Council meetings on any topic. Those wishing to offer public comments at a Council meeting are asked to sign up in advance. Anyone attending online can fill out the Public Comment Sign Up Form on the City’s website before 3:00 PM on the day of a meeting. People attending in-person can fill out a blue paper form next to the Council Chambers door before the meeting begins.
